Customer:
- US based nano-biotech company
Key Customer Challenges:
- Customer is a developer of assay technology for colorimetric detection of amplified DNA sequences using nano-particle probe technology. The nanoparticle probes change color based on the presence of a specific DNA target and function as permanent test record when spotted onto a membrane.
- Customer required a custom tool to design capture sequences for unique regions and probe sequences for common regions between the input sequences for use with their technology.

Solution Overview
- Custom Bioinformatics Application developed for requirement
- The application was developed to accept an input of at least two or more sequences (CDS) of a single gene or gene sequences from different organisms or species
- Application generated capture sequences in a complementary fashion to certain unique regions on each of the input sequence like SNPs
- Application generated probe sequences that were down stream to the capture sequences
- For each input sequence, the capture sequences and the probes would be generated and displayed along with their properties
